Terms and conditions

 

The Client: The recipient of the service and name listed on the booking form
Makeup Artist: Carly Clark
The Agreement: The contract that exists between the client and Carly Clark(otherwise referred to as PrettyBowMakeup ) for the agreed fee
The fee: The amount payable by the client to the makeup artist for the services listed above
The event: Relates in principle to the date whereby the event (i.e the wedding) takes place
The party: Additional members of the bridal party

Securing services

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable deposit to PrettyBowMakeup Ltd.
The deposit is £40.00– this is required to secure the event.
Trials take place at clients home or at My property in Brecon.

Trials are to be booked 1-4 months before the wedding day and is to be paid on trial day. 

The client can cancel a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged for at the agreed rate.

Payment

Payments can be made by paypal or via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.
The non-refundable deposit of £40.00 paid by the client is taken off the fee at the end.
The fee is to be paid in full by the client 3 weeks before the event.
Failure to pay the fee within the stated time will result in the event being cancelled by Prettybowmakeup,

Responsibility of the client

The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition
The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour. 

Cancellations 

If for some reason you decide to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply.

The percentages are the proportion of the total booking cost.

1 month before the wedding 30%

3 weeks before the wedding 40%

2 weeks before the wedding 50%

1 week before the wedding 100%

 

In the unfortunate event you have to cancel your booking, cancellations need to be made within 30 days of the reserved date to avoid the cancellation charge.

 

Photography

The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages.

Travel Expenses

The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking
This is to include, should it be required, parking charges

For destination weddings airport transfers both in the UK and abroad, flights and accommodation should all be provided.

1) Personal information that I collect from my customers 
PrettyBowMakeup Ltd collects personal information such as name, address, email address, telephone number and photographs, to allow me to fulfill a hair and makeup service to you the customer, there are rare occasions 
I also collect personal details  such as email address, name, telephone number, photographs,  for marketing purposes, to inform you of special offers and promotion. you have the right to opt out at any time please email me on prettybowmakeup@outlook.co.uk

2) The legal reasons to collect, use, and share personal information
PrettyBowMakeup  Ltd collects your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support; when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list; if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; 

3) The third parties PrettyBowMakeup  Ltd  shares information with
Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
To additional hair and makeup artists if they are working with me on a booking or if i have passed them on a booking in the form of a referal

4) Data Retention
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 1 year

5) Transferring information outside the EU
PrettyBowMakeup  Ltd doesn't transfer information outside the EU 

6) Customers Rights
  • You the customer has the right to request access your data at any time please contact the data protection officer at prettybowmakeup@outlook.co.uk 
  • Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
  • Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
  • Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
